Liminal Chrome Extension – Privacy Notice
What Liminal does
Liminal provides contextual, non-intrusive guidance on supported websites (such as app.powerbi.com). When a matching page is detected, Liminal may display a small prompt offering relevant help guides.
Data collection
Liminal does not collect personal data. No names, emails, IDs, account details, Power BI content, credentials, form inputs, keystrokes, or browsing history.
Data stored locally in your browser
To function correctly, Liminal stores limited data locally using Chrome local storage: a cached copy of the configuration file (up to 6 hours) and your dismissal preferences. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to JR Data Solutions.
Network requests
Liminal downloads a small JSON configuration file from https://jrdata.solutions/liminal/config.json. This file contains only URL matching rules, display labels, and HTTPS links to external help guides. Liminal does not download or execute remote code.
Analytics and tracking
Liminal does not use analytics, telemetry, cookies, or tracking pixels.

When you use contact forms, apply for a Clarity Session, or interact with our services, we may collect your name, email address, organisation name, role, and information you provide about your data environment or situation.

We use collected data to respond to enquiries, deliver and improve our services, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected or as required by law. Enquiry data is typically retained for up to 2 years.
